Liber Meus is an independent project operated by an individual based in Poland.

2. What Data We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:

  • Your email address
  • Your display name
  • Your Google account identifier

We do not collect your password, IP address, location, or any data beyond what Google provides during authentication.

3. Data We Generate During Use

As you play, the application creates and stores:

  • Game state and progress (scenarios, acts, turns)
  • Your chosen actions and the narration produced in response
  • Summaries and impressions derived from your game sessions
  • Your token balance

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Save and resume your game progress
  • Generate narrative content through AI services
  • Track your token usage

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

To generate game content, your in-game actions and narrative context are sent to AI providers through OpenRouter (OpenRouter, Inc.). These requests contain game narrative only — never your email, name, or account details.

The AI models used include DeepSeek and OpenAI GPT-4o-mini. These providers process game text to produce narration and analysis. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Google's handling of your data during sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party services receive your data. We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, advertising networks, or external fonts.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (_liber_meus_v2_session) that is strictly necessary for the application to function. It keeps you signed in and stores your language preference. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Germany (Hetzner Cloud), within the European Union. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to the application.

8. Data Retention

Your account and game data are retained for as long as your account is active. Token balances are refreshed every hour (at the top of each hour, UTC) up to the default allocation.

If you delete your account, all game data is permanently removed and your personal information is erased (see section 9).

9. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access your data — view it on your profile page
  • Export your data — download it as JSON from your profile page
  • Delete your data — delete your account from your profile page, which permanently removes all game data and anonymizes your account record
  • Object to processing or restrict processing — contact us at the email above
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Poland, this is the UODO (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych)

10. Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • All your games, saves, and associated data are permanently deleted
  • Your email and name are erased
  • Your Google identifier is replaced with an irreversible hash
  • Your token balance is preserved on the anonymized record to prevent abuse

If you sign up again with the same Google account, your token balance carries over but no other data is restored.

11. Age Requirement

Liber Meus is intended for users aged 18 and older. The game may produce AI-generated content that includes violence, mature themes, or other material unsuitable for minors. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
